Here are the ways… (Originally posted on April 2012)

I just read your post on Tourism. I agree wholeheartedly. You know, before I went to the Philippines, I watched tons of videos on YouTube, mostly made by the Tourism Department. It made me so excited to see the places , take photos of them and post them on my blog proudly. But when I saw the real thing, I thought I would be misleading and dishonest if I showed only the nice stuff, but cropped the ugly ones. Unfortunately, that’s what I did, and would be doing for the rest of my Philippine vacation posts. But it’s fine, I guess. Some spots are really nice. Some would have been spectacular if only the people had taken good care of them. have you seen Bagiou decades ago and have you seen it now? I haven’t , of course, but what I saw now was nothing to hype about. Believe me. It’s sad.
